“Artivism-Manpaï Biennial : Spotlight on Bordeaux through art and personal development.”
Art is emerging as a powerful catalyst for change in a world in search of meaning and transformation. Coordinated by visionary visual artist Alexandra Mas, the Artivism-Manpaï Biennial is bound to be a beacon of creativity and inspiration in Bordeaux. Offering an immersive and inspiring experience for all visitors, this inaugural edition promises a compelling plunge into the intersection of contemporary art and personal development. Let’s dive into this fascinating universe where each work becomes an invitation to explore the depths of the human soul and embrace the beauty of personal transformation.
Alexandra Mas: “The Biennial is an ambitious project, and perhaps even more than that. The aim is to open the doors to a world that we hope will lead you to poetic shores. Each of the works presented fits in with the theme of this first edition, which is “Serenity”, a state much needed these days. The Manpaï gallery is an ideal place to welcome and create a link between art and personal development.”
The Artivist Emergence
Since its genesis at the 2019 Venice Biennale, the Artivism movement has conquered the contemporary art world. Led by Alexandra Mas, Peter Hopkins and Diana Hohenthal, ARTIVISM is now taking root in Bordeaux, Berlin and the United States. This movement, driven by a new generation of committed artists, explores the boundaries between art, activism and social and ecological awareness.
Manpaï a place of Choice for inspiration and serenity
Galerie Manpaï, an oasis of well-being and creativity, is the ideal venue for the Artivism-Manpaï Biennial. Based in the heart of Bordeaux, this gallery embodies the democratization of art and the quest for serenity so dear to Alexandra Mas. By choosing Manpaï as focal point, the organizers are asserting their desire to create a space where art and personal development come together harmoniously.
Artists in the spotlight
Nine internationally renowned artists have come together for this inaugural edition, each with his or her own vision and expertise. These emerging talents, from Celia Gouveiac to Sarah Olson to François Pohu-Lefèvre, explore a wide range of artistic media, from sculpture and photography to painting and printmaking. Public Interaction: A Participatory Biennial
The participatory aspect of the Biennial offers the public a unique opportunity to engage with contemporary art. By voting for their favorite works, visitors contribute to the recognition and visibility of the selected artists. This interaction creates a dynamic dialogue between creators and their audience, strengthening the links between art and society.
By bringing art and personal development together at the Artivism-Manpaï Biennial, Alexandra Mas and her team are providing a fresh look at the role of art in our society. From April 10 to October 15, 2024, Bordeaux will be the stage for an exciting exploration of human creativity and its transformative potential. Don’t miss this unique artistic experience that promises to light up everyone’s mind and heart.
