“Serenity”, 1st exhibition of the Artivism-Manpaï Biennial runs until October 15, 2024, Galerie Manpaï in Bordeaux, and online.
Created by Alexandra Mas, the “ARTIVISM” group was built around the activist work of the Bordeaux-based visual artist and creator of the Artivism-Manpaï Biennial. Responding to the invitation of Jean Bercy, founder of Maison Manpaï, “Sérénité” brings together 9 internationally renowned artists: Celia Gouveiac/ sculptor and visual artist – Hanna Mare/ visual artist – Alexandra Mas/ visual artist – Christopher Lavenair/photographer and painter – Sarah Olson/ painter and drawing artist – François Pohu-Lefèvre/photographer and visual artist – Arnaud Rinuccini/photographer – Tori Tasch/ engraver and papermaker and book artist – Annette Werndl/ painter.
Alongside the onsite exhibition, the Biennial continues online with renowned artists such as Oscar Carvallo, Anton Laiko and Gaïa Adducciho, and experienced photographers such as Fabrice Sandré, Arnaud Rinuccini, Thiery Beyne, Fasnibay, Belladonna Lagerkvist and Marco Tassini.
