Since 2019, Artivism has demonstrated at the Venice Biennale, each edition awarding a prize. Artivism brings international artists together to create exhibitions around a theme. With the theme “Serenity”, the 1st Artivism-Manpaï Biennial highlights the link between art and personal development.
The choice of Manpaï, a place of wellness, exchange and art gallery, as the setting for a biennial event was an invitation from Jean Bercy (founder) and responded to a double ambition: to democratize art and support the place’s quest for serenity, themes very present in artists’ creative inspiration.
