Through her art, Jacqueline H-Botquelen acts as an archaeologist of the human psyche, her creations seem to have been unearthed or recovered from some distant place in the artist’s unconscious.
It’s as if each work of art has had a life of its own, transcended by the artist’s research into the mediums used. Jacqueline H-Botquelen achieves a suspended time in reference to our memories.

The central theme of Jacqueline H-Botquelen’s artistic research is Permanence and Fragility. In her artistic series, she creates a recurring dialogue between figurative and abstract in her paintings, collages and sculptures.

Jacqueline H-Botquelen is a Franco-Swiss multi-talented Artist whose textured, weathered works seem shaped by time.
Jacqueline H-Botquelen draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including our collective unconscious, mythology and our roots. The artist offers a fresh perspective on these themes, infusing them with a contemporary feel. Her work is about our world and our humanity.
Painting, sculpture, metal, glass, paper… Jacqueline H-Botquelen uses all these techniques and in particular the very demanding work with glass paste, After 20 years of passion for this versatile medium, in tune with her creative instincts, the Artist continues her investigations.
Jacqueline H-Botquelen is well represented on the Swiss and American markets.
Her work is part of numerous international private collections, including the European Museum of Modern Glass in Rödental, Germany, the Stourbridge Glass Museum in Wordsley, England, and the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, USA.
The artist has been working with Habatat Gallery in Royal Oak, Michigan, for ten years, and joined Art Trope Gallery in 2024.

Florence Sartori has placed Woman at the center of her aesthetic universe. Her resolutely life-oriented approach arouses emotion through timeless female figures. Whether a warrior, fulfilled, fragile or assertive, Woman is both singular and plural for Florence Sartori. She focuses her attention on the arching, tensing, stretching, and ease of the female body, which can assume a balanced, symmetrical, sensual, and sometimes geometric form. She seeks to enhance the dynamics, energy, and vitality of the body in motion and signify its freedom, capturing a natural attitude of movement in an instant, like a snapshot, and restoring its line. This original line is purified and stylized to seize the essence of the body of Woman, in its most universal aspects: curves and voluptuousness, flexibility and sensuality, balance in space, tensing of the body, suspended movement, swaying hips or aerial arabesque.
