Rosario Galatioto exhibits at the Château de Gordes from January 10th to March 6th 2022 !
Art Trope Gallery is delighted to start this new year with the retrospective exhibition of 46 paintings by our Painter Rosario Galatioto at the Castel of Gordes, formerly the museum of Victor Vasarely, a unique place in the Luberon region in France, until March 6th 2022.
The Press Conference will be held by Town Mayor Richard KITAEFF on Friday, February 11th 2022 at 6 pm on the exhibition venue’s premises, with Rosario Galatioto and Virginie Tison.
The ” painting “, which by tradition shows the intention, is too restrictive to talk about Rosario Galatioto’s artwork. Galatioto’s vision refers to an almost archaeological primitive language, which suggests an intuitive handling of the support and the materials. His landscapes, so defined in his mind, seem more related with X-rays than with any kind of translations.The artist works with the line, sometimes taking it to more graphic arrangements, to the point of collage.
Rosario Galatioto has been exhibiting in galleries, museums and international art fairs for over forty years. His works are part of numerous art collections in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, the United States and the United Kingdom.

For 12 months, Virginie Tison will work with you one-on-one to review all aspects of your artistic career that are essential to its development. The steps are as follows:
1. February 2022: 3-hour strategic call interview
2. from March 2022 to February 2023: a 1-hour monthly video conference bringing together all the artists in the class + a 2-hour monthly one-to-one call covering the topics of the 9 face-to-face trainings
3. In March 2023: multiple choice test to be completed confirming your qualifying training

This service is the result of Art Trope’s experience since 2016.
